‘Bring & Share’ is a key part of NHBH’s
activities. Although we adhere to moral
values and objectives (see the "NHBH Aims"
page on this site), as humanists, we have no
scriptures, no dogma, no priesthood. But we do
have each other. The greatest service we can
perform in helping each other develop a fuller
understanding of the meaning and purpose of
humanism therefore, is to share any of
our own experiences which might have helped us
along the way towards humanism.
So ... If you have a story to tell, we would really
like to hear it. Share with us some of the
things you might have read, heard or
experienced that have illuminated your own path, or
have been personal milestones towards humanism.
A "Bring & Share" is a meeting where
members can present, in up to half-an-hour, an
analysis or commentary on such a work or
experience. If you do that, you may be surprised
how much other humanists can relate to your story.
This page will carry such offerings as contributors
to this programme wish to make available to a wider
audience, or to leave as a more permanent
trace.
