“FOR
THE ONE LIFE WE HAVE”
Who are
we?
A few like-minded people meeting regularly at a pub
earlier this year quickly developed into a larger
group until, in October 2006, they formed
themselves into the North Herts and Beds Humanists
(NHBH). We still meet in the pub!
Our ages vary considerably, as do our backgrounds
and views, but we share a wish to explore all
aspects of humanism and its ideals and relevance to
today’s world.
We would like to share or ideas with any interested
members of the general public. We have no doctrine
or party line to sell, so come and share your ideas
with us and you’ll very likely find that humanism
is what you think, only you’ve never realised that
it had a name.
The
group meets on the last Tuesday
of
every month from 7.30pm, at:
The Education Centre,
6, Rothsay Gardens,
Bedford
Please
look at the 'forthcoming events' pages for the
latest information on meetings.
Please
contact Charles Baily - Chairperson -
for further information.
We welcome enquiries from anyone who might be
interested in finding out more about humanism and
who may well find themselves identifying with our
ideals.
